Our mission is to develop a foundation of lifelong learning for children ages birth to 5, families, and caregivers in Fayette County through accessible and approachable educational tools.
The key to a child's future success is interaction. And the simplest and most fun way is for parents and caregivers to read, talk, and play with children starting at birth.
First 5 Lex - Read, Talk, Play was developed by Fayette County Public Schools in partnership with early childhood professionals from our community in response to concerns about school readiness.
We want to give families and caregivers access to information about early learning. Our programs and resources connect you to fun, age-appropriate activities and local events that will help you support your young child’s development and learning.
